Based on my review of the Jobscan results, there are a few edits that I would need to make in order for my resume to more successfully pass the Applicant Tracking System of my target company, Twitch Prime.
First I will need to change the title of my experience section to “Professional Experience” as this is more easily identified by an ATS. Additionally, I will need to change the date format for each experience role to “Month YYYY” from the current abbreviated “Mon YYYY” format that I use.
There are also some specific skills that I need to reference in my experience areas including Instagram, Media Analytics, and analyzing data. It would also benefit me to reference the soft skills passively listed in the dob description, like “creativity” and “leadership” and “point of contact” throughout my experience section or even in my objective statement.
All in all my base resume would not be ineffective to submit, but by making these few updates I would be able stand out as a strong candidate for this role to the Applicant Tracking System.
